ACJ-400 vs ACJ-405 vs ACJ-407: Which Wi-Fi GSM Alarm Panel to Buy
Short answer: pick the ACJ-400 (₹5,999) if you want the cheapest Wi-Fi + GSM panel that auto-dials and sends SMS on a break-in and comes with a wired siren in the box. Pick the ACJ-405 (₹8,450) if someone at home needs a big SOS button and two-way talk through the panel. Pick the ACJ-407 (₹8,499) if you want the 4.3-inch colour screen, RFID key rings and about 6 to 8 hours of backup power in a power cut. All three panels send alerts over both Wi-Fi and a GSM SIM card, prices include GST, and delivery across India is free.
These are the three panels most buyers shortlist on our store, and they look similar on paper. The real differences are the keypad, what is in the box, what happens in a power cut and who will use the panel every day. This page compares only what each product listing states, so you can match a panel to your home or shop without guessing.

What does each panel do best?
ACJ-400: the budget workhorse
The ACJ-400 is a keypad panel that joins your Wi-Fi and holds a SIM card. When a sensor trips, it sounds the wired siren and auto-dials the numbers you have saved, with SMS alerts too. The listing says compatible wireless sensors work up to about 100 m from the panel, depending on walls and installation, and it supports door, window, PIR, smoke, shutter and beam sensors. It carries a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Because the siren is wired, place the panel where you can run a short cable to a spot the neighbours will hear.
ACJ-405: for elderly parents and families
The ACJ-405 has a 2.4-inch touch screen that shows date, time and battery status, a large SOS button on the panel and two-way audio, so you can talk through it like an intercom. It can remember up to 5 phone numbers and moves to the next number if one is busy. You can set a schedule, for example armed at night and off in the morning. The listing names Wi-Fi and 2G, so use a SIM from an operator that still runs 2G calls and SMS in your area.
ACJ-407: the screen panel for bigger homes
The ACJ-407 has the largest screen and the most ways to arm and disarm: remote, RFID key ring, app, SMS or a timetable. It supports full and part arming across three zone types (external, internal and 24-hour), so you can arm the doors and windows at night while you move around inside. The panel keeps running for about 6 to 8 hours in a power cut and raises the alarm if someone tries to remove it from the wall. It warns you in the app when a sensor battery is low.
Choose the ACJ-400 if…
- You want Wi-Fi + GSM alerts at the lowest price on our store.
- You are protecting a small flat, shop or office and the 1 sensor + 1 PIR in the box covers most of it.
- You want a wired siren and can route a cable to it.
- You plan to add a shutter, vibration or beam sensor: the ACJ-400 has the most ready combos (below).
Choose the ACJ-405 if…
- Elderly parents or children are home alone and need a big SOS button and a way to talk to you.
- You want call alerts to roll over to the next family member when one phone is busy.
- You want to schedule arming without touching the panel every day.
Choose the ACJ-407 if…
- Your area has long power cuts and you want the panel to keep working for hours.
- Several people disarm the alarm and you want RFID key rings instead of sharing a PIN.
- You have a villa or bungalow and want part arming at night.
- You want the bigger 4.3-inch colour screen at almost the same price as the ACJ-405.
Ready combos for each panel
If you already know you need a shutter, vibration or smoke sensor, a combo gets the panel and that sensor in one order.
| Combo | Panel | Extra sensor | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Combo-CN186 | ACJ-400 | PLG-43 plunger shutter sensor | ₹6,450 |
| Combo-CN108 | ACJ-400 | SMK-43 wireless smoke sensor | ₹6,499 |
| Combo-CN305 | ACJ-400 | SH-43 wireless shutter sensor | ₹6,999 |
| Combo-CN307 | ACJ-400 | VS-43 wireless vibration sensor | ₹6,999 |
| Combo-CN291 | ACJ-407 | SH-43 wireless shutter sensor | ₹8,999 |
| Combo-CN216 | ACJ-405 | SH-43 wireless shutter sensor | ₹9,450 |
| Combo-CN32 | ACJ-405 | VS-43 wireless vibration sensor | ₹9,450 |
| Combo-CN24 | ACJ-405 | SMK-43 wireless smoke sensor | ₹9,450 |
One thing the table shows: for a shop with a shutter, the ACJ-407 combo (₹8,999) costs less than the ACJ-405 combo (₹9,450), and you get the bigger screen and backup power. The ACJ-405 is still the one to pick if two-way talk matters more to you than the screen.
How much will the whole system cost?
Each kit covers one door and one room. Every extra door or window needs its own contact, such as the MCT-43 at ₹650. A shop shutter needs a shutter sensor, not a door contact. Our alarm system price guide lists every add-on sensor and works out a full 2BHK budget, and the Security System Builder lets you add sensors room by room. FAQ
Which is better, ACJ-405 or ACJ-407?
The ACJ-407 has a bigger 4.3-inch colour screen, RFID key rings and about 6 to 8 hours of emergency power for ₹49 more. The ACJ-405 is better if you want a large SOS button and two-way talk through the panel.
Do all three panels work without internet?
Yes, as long as an active SIM card is in the panel. GSM lets them call or send SMS when Wi-Fi or broadband is down; the app needs internet.
Which ACJ panel has battery backup?
The ACJ-407 lists about 6 to 8 hours of emergency power. The ACJ-405 has a 3.7V 500mAh built-in battery. The ACJ-400 listing does not state a backup time, so plan an inverter or UPS point for it.
Can I disarm the alarm without a phone?
Yes. The ACJ-400 comes with 2 remotes, the ACJ-407 with 2 remotes and 2 RFID key rings, and the ACJ-405 has a touch screen on the panel.
Is the ACJ-400 good enough for a shop?
Yes for a small shop. Add a shutter sensor, or buy the Combo-CN305 (₹6,999) or Combo-CN186 (₹6,450), which pair the ACJ-400 with a shutter sensor.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. The panel is a one-time purchase. You only keep the SIM card active with your mobile operator.
