Landline Phone Price in India (October 2026): Corded, Caller ID and Cordless
Short answer: in India a basic corded landline phone costs about ₹599 to ₹650, a corded phone with a caller ID screen ₹650 to ₹999, and a cordless phone around ₹1,990. What decides the price of a landline phone?
A landline phone is a simple device, so the price comes down to three things: whether it has a screen that shows the caller's number, whether the handset is cordless, and whether it is an ordinary analogue phone or an IP phone. Brand and colour change the price only slightly. For most homes, shops and offices the choice is really between three Beetel models: the plain C11, the caller-ID C51 and the cordless X-90.

IP phones do not plug into a landline or a standard EPABX extension. They need an IP-PBX such as the CCL IP-500 (₹19,900). If you are unsure which system you have, the IP-PBX vs EPABX guide explains the difference.
What moves the price
- Caller ID screen. The jump from the C11 (₹599) to the C51 (₹999) is ₹400, and it buys you a screen that shows the calling number. On an EPABX the number only appears if the exchange sends caller ID, and on a direct landline only if your provider has caller ID enabled.
- Cordless handset. The X-90 at ₹1,990 costs about three C11s. You pay for the radio handset, rechargeable battery, speakerphone and phone book. It also needs a power socket for its base.
- IP versus analogue. IP phones cost around nine times a basic phone, because each one is a small computer. Only buy them if you are running an IP-PBX.
- Wall mounting. The B25 listing calls out wall mounting, which helps in lift lobbies, gate cabins and hospital corridors where a desk phone would be knocked over.
- Buying in a kit. If you are also buying an exchange, a kit with phones is usually the cheapest way to get matched handsets. See the kit prices in our EPABX price guide.
What phones cost for a whole office
When you fit out an EPABX, multiply by the number of extensions. Mixing models is normal: caller-ID phones at reception and the owner's cabin, plain phones everywhere else.
| Number of phones | All C11 | All B25 | All C51 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | ₹2,396 | ₹2,600 | ₹3,996 |
| 8 | ₹4,792 | ₹5,200 | ₹7,992 |
| 16 | ₹9,584 | ₹10,400 | ₹15,984 |
A practical 8-desk mix is 2 C51 at reception and the owner's cabin plus 6 C11 elsewhere: ₹1,998 + ₹3,594 = ₹5,592. Stock on the date below: 14 C11, 9 B25, 20 C51 and 9 X-90. For larger quantities, message us on WhatsApp.

FAQ
What is the price of a basic landline phone in India?
A basic corded landline phone such as the Beetel C11 costs ₹599 on our store, including GST. It has no caller ID screen but supports redial, flash, mute and ringer control.
Which landline phone shows caller ID?
The Beetel C51 (₹999) has a caller ID screen, and the B25 (₹650) and X-90 cordless (₹1,990) also show caller ID. The number appears only if your line or EPABX sends caller ID.
Do landline phones work with an EPABX?
Yes. Any standard analogue phone, corded or cordless, works as an EPABX extension. IP phones are different and need an IP-PBX.
Does a cordless landline phone work in a power cut?
The cordless base needs mains power, so it stops when the power goes unless it is on an inverter or UPS. A corded phone like the C11 or C51 has no separate power plug.
Can I use a landline phone without a landline connection?
Yes, two ways: as an internal extension on an EPABX for free intercom calls, or connected to a GSM gateway that turns a mobile SIM into a phone line.
How much do phones for an 8-desk office cost?
Eight C11 phones cost ₹4,792 and eight C51 phones ₹7,992. A common mix of 2 C51 and 6 C11 comes to ₹5,592.
