What comes in the box with the motor?
Each NavKar sliding gate motor comes with 2 remotes, limit switches, 2 keys to release the motor and a mounting base plate with user manual. The gear rack, safety sensor and Wi‑Fi module are bought separately, which is why this builder adds them for you.
How much gear rack do I need?
As long as the moving gate. We round up to the next full metre, because a rack that stops short means the gate stops short of closed. Each 1 metre GR-12M rack is 12 mm galvanised iron and comes with 3 studs.
Which motor is right for my gate?
Choose by weight. SGM-370 is rated for gates up to 600 kg, SGM-550 up to 1,200 kg, the 750 W motor up to 1,500 kg and the 1,200 W motor up to 2,000 kg. Use the estimator above, or send us a photo and we will confirm.
Can I open the gate during a power cut?
Yes. Release the clutch with the supplied keys and the gate can be opened and closed by hand.
How does Wi‑Fi control work?
The WFC-SGM module connects to your 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi. Download the Smart Life app to open and close the gate from your phone and see a history of when it was used.
