EM Lock Brackets (L, Z, U, GG) & Drop Bolt Brackets

An EM lock needs a bracket when the door does not give the magnet and its steel plate a flat place to meet. Most framed doors that open away from the lock side need no bracket.

  • L bracket: for narrow frames, and the second half of the Z + L set.
  • Z + L bracket: for doors that open towards the lock side.
  • U bracket: clamps the plate to a frameless glass door without drilling.
  • GG bracket: for glass-to-glass doors with no frame at all.
  • I and UI brackets: armature plate holders for 600 lbs locks.
  • Drop bolt U bracket: lets a drop bolt lock into a glass door.
