Frequently asked questions
What does an access control system include?
A reader (fingerprint, card, PIN or face), a controller, a power supply and an electronic lock such as an EM lock or strike lock, plus an exit button. Complete kits include most of these parts.
Which lock should I use with it?
Use an EM lock for glass and wooden doors that must fail open in a power cut, or a strike lock for doors that must stay locked. Match the lock voltage with the power supply.
Can I add more users later?
Yes. Users are added with fingerprints, cards or PINs, and the number of users is listed in the product specifications.
