Do these devices need a hub?

Most Wi-Fi devices connect straight to your router without a hub. Check each product page, as some sensors are 433 MHz and pair with an alarm panel instead.

Do they work with 5 GHz Wi-Fi?

Most Tuya devices use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Make sure your router has a 2.4 GHz band switched on before setup.
