SR-1K 220V industrial electronic siren hooter, 1 km range

Industrial Hooter Price in India (October 2026): 100 m to 3 km Range

Short answer: in India an industrial hooter costs about ₹898 to ₹2,700 for short-range and panel sirens of around 100 metres, ₹3,000 to ₹4,999 for 1 km hooters, ₹3,999 to ₹5,950 for 1.5 km hooters with or without a remote or Wi-Fi switch, and ₹8,500 for a 3 km double-mount siren. The price moves with the stated sound range, the supply voltage, and whether a remote, Wi-Fi switch or flashing light is included. How to read a hooter's range

The range in a hooter's name is the distance it is stated to be heard in open space. Walls, sheds, trees, machinery noise and wind all cut that distance. A 1 km hooter on the roof of a factory may be clearly heard across the yard but barely inside a closed office block. As a rule, pick a model rated well beyond the distance you actually need, mount it high and in the open, and add a second unit for areas behind buildings.

Also check the supply voltage. Most hooters here run on 220V AC, which is normal Indian mains. One model is listed for 110V, which needs a matching supply, and one is hand-operated and needs no electricity at all.

Price table: hooter kits with remote or Wi-Fi switch

A kit lets you sound the hooter from the office, the gate or your phone without running a switch wire to it.

Kit What is in the box Best for Price
Combo-CN203 SR-1K 1 km hooter + Tuya Wi-Fi switch Sounding the hooter from a phone app ₹4,650
Combo-CN213 SR-15k hooter + 220V/30A receiver with remote Guard or supervisor sounding it by remote ₹4,999
Combo-CN237 SR-15K hooter + Tuya Wi-Fi switch Larger campus, app control ₹5,950
Combo-CN225 ASBS-01 automatic bell timer + SR-1K hooter of up to 1 km School or factory that wants the hooter on a timetable ₹5,999

Where to mount an industrial hooter

  1. High and in the open. A roof edge, water-tank stand or tall pole facing the area to be covered carries sound much further than a wall inside a courtyard.
  2. Under cover if the model is not weatherproof. Fix a small canopy over the SR-1K or SR-15k so rain cannot enter the horn.
  3. Away from neighbours' windows. A 1 km hooter is very loud up close. Point it towards your own ground, not the next house.
  4. Near the switch or receiver. Keep the cable run from the timer, remote receiver or Wi-Fi switch short and in conduit, and have an electrician do the 220V wiring.
  5. Test from the far corner. Walk to the farthest point at a busy time of day and check you can hear it before fixing the bracket for good.

What moves the price

  • Stated range. Going from a 100 m siren (₹898) to a 1 km hooter (₹3,000) roughly triples the price; the 3 km SR2M-3K is ₹8,500.
  • Light as well as sound. The INSR-220, TBJ-100 and TBJ-150 add a flashing or revolving light for noisy floors where people may not hear a siren alone.
  • Remote or Wi-Fi switch. Adding a Tuya Wi-Fi switch to the SR-1K costs ₹1,650 over the hooter alone (₹4,650 vs ₹3,000). The 1.5 km kits work the same way.
  • No-power operation. The hand-operated HSR-1K costs more than an electric 1 km hooter but works when the power is off, which matters for evacuation alarms.
  • Duty and weather. The SR-1K and SR-15k listings say they are not weatherproof. Budget for a canopy or covered mounting point, and plan short blasts, not continuous running.

What is the price of an industrial hooter in India?

On our store industrial hooters cost ₹898 to ₹8,500 including GST. A 1 km hooter costs ₹3,000 to ₹4,999 and a 3 km double-mount siren costs ₹8,500.

How far can a 1 km hooter be heard?

The 1 km figure is the stated range in open space. Buildings, trees, wind and machinery noise reduce it, so test from the farthest point and add another unit if needed.

Not the SR-1K: its listing says it should not play continuously for more than 5–10 seconds. Use short blasts for period bells and shift changes.

Are these hooters waterproof?

The SR-1K and SR-15k listings say they are not weatherproof and must be protected from water and rain. The TBJ-150 is listed as IP65 for indoor and outdoor use.
