Smoke Detector Price in India (October 2026): Wireless, Wired and Wi-Fi Models
Short answer: in India a single smoke detector costs about ₹899 to ₹1,799. A battery-powered standalone alarm or a wired detector for an alarm panel starts at ₹899, a 433 MHz wireless sensor for a security alarm is ₹1,200, and a Wi-Fi smoke alarm that alerts your phone is ₹1,799. Ready kits with a siren, remotes or a full alarm panel cost ₹2,700 to ₹9,450. All prices below are our live website prices, include GST, and delivery across India is free.
What decides which smoke detector you need
The first question is not price. It is what the detector reports to. A smoke detector either sounds by itself, sends an alert to your phone, or signals a separate alarm panel that then sounds the siren. Buy the wrong type and it will not work with what you already have.
- Standalone (battery): sounds its own alarm in the room. No wiring, no panel. Good for a bedroom, a PG room or a small shop.
- Wi-Fi: sounds locally and pushes an alert to the Tuya / Smart Life app, so you know about smoke at home while you are away.
- Wireless 433 MHz: sends a radio signal to a 433 MHz wireless alarm panel or siren, which raises the alarm and, on GSM models, calls your phone.
- Wired: connects by cable to a fire alarm panel or an alarm host. It needs a DC power supply and gives a relay output (NC/NO). This is the type used in offices, schools and factories.

Price table: smoke detector kits
A kit makes sense when you have no alarm panel yet, or when one detector must also sound a louder siren somewhere else in the building.
| Kit | What is in the box | Best for | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Combo-CN47 | Wired smoke detector, SRB-1215 12V siren, siren remote kit with 2 remotes, power supply | Godown or shop that wants a loud siren without a full panel | ₹2,700 |
| Wireless strobe siren kit | SRRD-43 sound-and-light strobe siren, SMK-43 smoke detector, 2 remotes | Indoor siren with flashing lights, no wiring | ₹3,599 |
| SRSOL-43 solar siren kit | Solar wireless outdoor siren with LED flash, SMK-43 smoke detector, 2 mini remotes | Farmhouse, villa or shop where the siren goes outside | ₹4,399 |
| Combo-CN108 | ACJ-400 wireless GSM alarm system with SMK-43 smoke sensor | Home or shop that wants calls and SMS on fire and on intrusion | ₹6,499 |
| AGNI conventional fire alarm kit | Fire alarm control panel, manual call point, smoke sensor and fire alarm siren | Small office, clinic, school block or warehouse starting a proper fire alarm | ₹7,199 |
| Combo-CN24 | ACJ-405 Wi-Fi + GSM touch alarm kit with SMK-43 smoke sensor | Home that wants app control, GSM backup and smoke detection together | ₹9,450 |
What moves the price
- How the alarm reaches you. A detector that only beeps in the room is the cheapest. Phone alerts over Wi-Fi add roughly ₹900 over a basic standalone unit. A full GSM panel that calls you costs more, but it also covers burglary.
- Wired vs wireless. The wired SMK-WD and the wireless SMK-43 are close in price, but the wired one needs cable runs and a DC supply, while the wireless one needs a 9V battery and a compatible 433 MHz panel.
- Siren and panel. A detector alone is under ₹1,800. Once you add a siren, remotes and power supply, kits start at ₹2,700. A conventional fire alarm panel kit with call point is ₹7,199.
- Batteries and extras. The SMK-43 does not include its 9V battery. Wired systems need cable and an electrician's time, which are not in the prices above.
- Number of rooms. Every room and corridor normally needs its own detector, so multiply the single-unit price by the number of points before comparing kits.
Which one for your need
- One bedroom, PG room or small shop, no wiring: Agni Smoke Detector (₹899).
- Flat or house where you want phone alerts: SMK-TY Wi-Fi Smoke Alarm (₹1,799) on your home Wi-Fi.
- You already have a 433 MHz wireless alarm (ACJ series or similar): add SMK-43 sensors (₹1,200 each) and check the frequency matches your panel.
- Godown or shop that wants a loud siren: Combo-CN47 (₹2,700) or the SRSOL-43 solar siren kit (₹4,399) for an outdoor siren.
- Office, clinic, school or factory: a panel-based system with wired detectors. Start with the AGNI fire alarm kit (₹7,199), then add one detector per room. WhatsApp us your layout and we will confirm which detector works with the panel.

FAQ
What is the price of a smoke detector in India?
On our store a single smoke detector costs ₹899 to ₹1,799 including GST. Kits with a siren or alarm panel cost ₹2,700 to ₹9,450.
Which is better, a wired or wireless smoke detector?
Wired detectors suit new offices, schools and factories with a fire alarm panel because they are powered and monitored by cable. Wireless detectors suit existing homes and shops where running cable is not practical, but you must manage batteries and use a panel of the same frequency.
Can a smoke detector send an alert to my phone?
Yes. The SMK-TY Wi-Fi smoke alarm pushes alerts to the Tuya / Smart Life app over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. A wireless SMK-43 paired with a GSM alarm panel can also trigger calls and SMS through the panel.
Does a smoke detector work during a power cut?
Battery-powered detectors such as the Agni, SMK-TY and SMK-43 keep working without mains power. Wired detectors depend on the panel or power supply, so choose a panel with battery backup.
Can I put a smoke detector in the kitchen?
It is better not to. Cooking fumes and steam cause false alarms. For a kitchen, use a gas leak detector for LPG and fit smoke detectors in the rooms and corridor outside.
Where should a smoke detector be fitted?
On the ceiling of each room and corridor, away from fans, air vents, bathrooms and kitchens. Follow the placement in the product manual and test it after installation.
