Access Control Kits for Installers: Matched Reader, Lock, Exit Switch and Power Supply in One Box
Short answer: a matched access control kit puts the reader, the electric lock, the exit button, the 12 V power supply and the first batch of cards or key tags in one box, so the installer fits one tested set per door instead of sourcing five parts. Our complete kits cost ₹4,850 to ₹9,199 per door at Indian retail prices, and most of them ship with 125 kHz key tags and cards. For installers and wholesale buyers, bulk and export pricing is quoted on request through our Bulk and Project Enquiry page or WhatsApp +91 91384 68548.
Why do matched kits save site time?
Most failed access control installs come down to mismatched parts: a reader that cannot drive the lock output, a supply too small for the lock, cards on the wrong frequency, or an exit button wired the wrong way. A kit removes those variables. Every part in the box was chosen to work together, and every door on a project gets the same wiring, so a technician who has fitted one door can fit the next twenty from memory.
Kits also simplify stock control. Instead of counting readers, locks, brackets, buttons and supplies separately, an installer orders kits by door type and keeps a small pool of spares. For a full explanation of how readers, locks and exit switches work together, see the door access control system guide.

The Wi-Fi kits (CN155, CN248, CN274, CN13) add a Wi-Fi receiver and remote, and several kits add a 12 V doorbell. The CN201 shows 3 units in stock today, so larger quantities of that kit are confirmed in the quote.
Which lock goes on which door?
- EM lock (electromagnetic): for wooden, aluminium and framed glass doors that should release when power is cut. Kits: CN215, CN232, CN155, CN248, CN274, and CN22 for glass with L and U brackets. See the EM lock buying guide.
- Drop bolt: a bolt that drops into the frame or floor, common on glass and aluminium doors. Kits: CN152, CN201.
- Strike lock: fits in the door frame and works with the existing latch, for doors that should stay locked. Kits: CN49, CN13.
Check local fire and building rules for doors on escape routes before choosing a lock type; requirements differ by country.
Why does 12 V matter?
Every kit here runs its reader and lock on 12 V DC. That makes them simple to support: the same supplies, buttons and spares fit across the range. For projects outside India, the important part is the mains side of the supply. The PK-80 supply used in CN152, CN215 and CN232 is listed for AC 110 to 240 V input. The CN201 listing states AC 110 to 220 V input. The CN22 uses the AD-12V adapter, which is listed for 220 V AC input. The DP-08 supply listing does not state its mains input, so ask us before ordering for a site outside the 220 to 240 V range. Check your local supply and wiring rules in every case. For sizing and battery backup, read the access control power supply guide.
125 kHz or 13.56 MHz cards?
RFID cards come in two common families. 125 kHz proximity cards and tags are simple ID cards: the reader reads a fixed number. 13.56 MHz cards, such as Mifare, can store data and are used where readers or hotel and attendance systems need it. A reader only reads its own frequency, so cards must always match the reader.
Most kits above ship with KCT-125 key tags and TNC-125 thin cards, which their own listings describe as 125 kHz; the CN201 listing states 125 kHz for its keypad. For extra users, order KCT-125 key tags (₹299 for 10) or TNC-125 thin cards (₹249 for 25). Do not mix in 13.56 MHz cards unless the reader's listing says it reads them. The full comparison is in the RFID cards guide.
Example: a 10-door office project
- 6 x Combo-CN232 for wooden and aluminium doors at ₹6,299 = ₹37,794
- 2 x Combo-CN152 for glass or aluminium doors with drop bolts at ₹4,850 = ₹9,700
- 2 x Combo-CN274 biometric kits for server room and cash room at ₹8,699 = ₹17,398
- 2 x KCT-125 key tag packs (20 extra tags) at ₹299 = ₹598
Total at website prices: ₹65,490 for 10 doors, about ₹6,549 per door. Cable and labour are extra. Spare parts with their own listings include the PK-80 supply (₹1,450), EM-602 EM lock (₹1,499), PSW-44 exit button (₹217) and WPRF-1K reader (₹3,999).

FAQ
What is included in an access control kit?
Typically a reader, an electric lock, an exit button, a 12 V power supply and cards or key tags. Each kit's listing shows the exact contents.
Do the kits use 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz cards?
Most of our kits ship with KCT-125 tags and TNC-125 cards, which are 125 kHz. Always buy extra cards of the same frequency as the reader.
Will the kits work on 110 V mains?
The readers and locks run on 12 V DC; the question is the supply. The PK-80 is listed for AC 110 to 240 V input, while the AD-12V is listed for 220 V AC, so check each kit's supply and your local rules.
Which kit is best for glass doors?
Combo-CN22 pairs an EM lock with L and U brackets and its listing says no drilling of the glass is needed. Drop bolt kits such as Combo-CN152 are another option.
Can I get wholesale prices on kits?
Yes. Bulk and export pricing is quoted on request through the Bulk and Project Enquiry page or WhatsApp.
Can I buy spare readers and locks separately?
Yes. Readers, EM locks, power supplies, exit buttons and cards all have their own listings.
Prices are NavKar Systems website prices on 27 October 2026, inclusive of GST, and may change.
