EPABX Intercom System Price in India (October 2026): 2 to 48 Extensions, With or Without Phones
Short answer: in India a small EPABX intercom for 4 to 8 extensions costs about ₹2,400 to ₹3,800, a 16-extension exchange ₹7,000 to ₹8,500, a 32-extension exchange ₹13,500 to ₹14,200, and a 48-extension system around ₹34,500. Add roughly ₹600 to ₹800 per corded phone if you buy a ready kit with telephones. The price moves with three things: how many outside telephone lines it takes, how many extensions it can run, and whether phones are included. All prices below are our live website prices, include GST, and delivery across India is free.
How to read an EPABX model number
CCL model numbers tell you the size. The first digit is the number of outside (CO) telephone lines, the rest is the number of extensions: a 108 takes 1 outside line and 8 extensions, a 216 takes 2 lines and 16 extensions, a 432 takes 4 lines and 32 extensions. If you only want staff or flats to call each other, the outside lines can stay empty and the exchange works as a pure intercom.

What moves the price
- Extensions. This is the main driver. Going from 8 to 16 extensions roughly doubles the exchange price; 32 extensions is about four times an 8-extension model.
- Outside lines. Each extra CO line adds a little: the CCL 216 (2 lines) is ₹7,500 and the CCL 416 (4 lines) is ₹8,499 for the same 16 extensions. If you only ever use one landline, do not pay for four.
- Features. The upgraded CCL 108 costs ₹600 more than the 108B for an inbuilt welcome message, caller-line identification, day/night mode and call transfer. Worth it for a reception that answers outside calls; unnecessary for a pure intercom.
- Phones. A plain Beetel C11 adds roughly ₹600 to ₹700 per point in a kit, a caller-ID C51 somewhat more. Buying the kit is usually cheaper than buying phones one by one, and everything arrives matched.
- Wiring is extra. Every phone needs a 2-core telephone cable back to the exchange. Budget cable and an electrician's time on top of the prices above.

FAQ
Does an EPABX need internet?
No. It runs on its own wiring. Internal calls work with no internet and no telephone line; connect a BSNL, Jio or other landline only for outside calls. If you want calls over the internet or between branches, see the IP-PBX vs EPABX guide.
Can I use it as an intercom with no outside line?
Yes. Leave the CO ports empty. The PAX models (442X, 462X) are built for internal calling only.
Is there any monthly charge?
No. An EPABX is a one-time purchase. Internal calls are free for life; outside calls are billed by your telephone provider as usual.
Which phones can I use?
Any standard corded landline phone works as an extension. Caller-ID phones such as the Beetel C51 show the extension or outside number calling, if the exchange supports caller-line identification.
Can I add more extensions later?
Only up to the model's rated capacity, so buy with headroom. A PAX marked "not extendable" cannot be expanded.
Do you help with programming?
Yes. Our team walks you through wiring and programming on call and WhatsApp, free. All prices include GST, and delivery across India is free.
