Short answer: in India a 125 kHz RFID proximity card costs about ₹10 to ₹33 per card depending on the pack (packs from ₹199 for 10 to ₹7,500 for 500), a 125 kHz key tag about ₹20 to ₹34 each, and a 13.56 MHz Mifare 1K card about ₹12 to ₹26 each. Mifare silicone wristbands cost about ₹145 to ₹150 each and long-range UHF cards about ₹32 each. The price moves with the frequency, the format (thin card, thick card, key tag or wristband) and the pack size. Which RFID card does your reader need?

Before comparing prices, match the card to the reader. A card that is the wrong frequency will not work at all, however cheap it is.

  • 125 kHz (EM, "proximity" or "LF") cards are used by most biometric attendance machines and door access readers that say "RFID card" or "ID card". Our TNC-125, THK-125 and KCT-125 ranges are 125 kHz.
  • 13.56 MHz Mifare (HF) cards are used by readers marked "Mifare", "IC card" or "13.56 MHz", by most hotel card locks, and where cards carry data for canteens or cashless payment. Our MFC-1K and MKC-1K ranges and the MWB wristbands are 13.56 MHz.
  • UHF cards are read from several metres away by a UHF reader only, for vehicle gates or library and asset tracking.

What moves the price

  • Pack size, but not always in a straight line. Per-card cost generally falls in bigger packs, yet some smaller packs work out cheaper per card than larger ones at today's prices. The TNC-125 set of 25 (about ₹10 a card) and the THK-125 set of 100 (about ₹11 a card) are the lowest per card in their ranges. Check the per-card column before you order.
  • Format. Key tags cost more per piece than cards (about ₹20 to ₹34 against ₹10 to ₹33), and silicone wristbands cost several times more again because of the moulded silicone band.
  • Frequency and chip. Plain Mifare 1K cards are close to 125 kHz cards in price. Mifare Classic 4K hotel cards and UID-changeable fobs cost much more because of the chip.
  • Printing. All cards here are plain white. Photo or logo printing is a separate job done by a card printer.

FAQ

What is the price of an RFID card in India?

On our store a 125 kHz RFID card costs about ₹10 to ₹33 per card depending on the pack, and a 13.56 MHz Mifare 1K card about ₹12 to ₹26. Packs start at ₹199 for 10 cards, including GST.

Will any RFID card work with my attendance machine?

No. The card must match the reader's frequency. Most attendance machines that say "RFID" or "ID card" read 125 kHz cards; readers marked "Mifare" or "IC" need 13.56 MHz cards.

Are key tags and cards interchangeable?

Yes, if they are the same frequency. A 125 kHz key tag works on any reader that accepts 125 kHz cards; only the shape is different.

Can I print photos on these RFID cards?

The thin TNC-125 and MFC-1K cards are plain white, bank-card sized cards, so a card printer can print on them. Thick clamshell cards are not suitable for printing.

What is the reading range of a UHF card?

Our UHF cards are listed for up to 10 metres, and they work only with a UHF reader, not with normal 125 kHz or Mifare readers.

Do you deliver RFID cards across India?

Yes. All prices include GST and delivery across India is free.

Prices are NavKar Systems website prices on 27 October 2026, inclusive of GST, and may change.
