Video Door Phone Price in India (October 2026): Wired, Wi-Fi and Doorbell Cameras
Short answer: in India a wired video door phone for one house or flat costs about ₹4,999 to ₹6,000 for a 7-inch monitor and an outdoor camera. Wi-Fi models that let you answer the door from your mobile cost ₹10,500 to ₹16,900. A battery Wi-Fi video doorbell with no indoor monitor is ₹2,799, and an audio-only door phone is ₹2,299 to ₹4,899. A video door phone bundled with an electronic lock and remotes costs ₹10,750 to ₹11,200. All prices below are our live website prices, include GST, and delivery across India is free.
What decides the price of a video door phone
Three questions settle most of the price. First, how the indoor monitor talks to the outdoor camera. A plain wired kit runs on its own cable, while an IP or Wi-Fi model joins your home network and can send the call to your phone. Second, how many families share one gate. A single-family kit has one monitor and one bell button; a villa kit has one button per family and one monitor per floor. Third, whether you want the door phone to open the gate. That needs an electronic lock, which is usually sold separately or as part of a kit.
Monitor size matters less than people think. Almost every model below has a 7-inch screen. The price jumps come from Wi-Fi, app control, touch screens, recording and how many monitors the system can grow to.

The three cheapest kits are simple door-to-monitor sets for one entrance. The Hikvision DS-KIS302-P and DS-KIS602 are network models: the 302-P pairs an analog outdoor unit with an IP indoor monitor that joins your network by cable or Wi-Fi, and the 602 runs on Ethernet with 12 V DC or PoE power. Where a cell says "see product page", the listing does not state it.

These suit people who want to see and talk to a visitor on their mobile while they are out, and in most cases open the gate from the app. The indoor monitor needs a steady Wi-Fi signal where you mount it.

Price table: Wi-Fi video doorbells and plain doorbells
A video doorbell is one battery-powered unit at the door. There is no indoor monitor; the call comes to your phone. It is the easiest choice for a rented flat because it needs no cable. A plain doorbell only rings.
| Model | Type | Key spec | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| DRB-43 wireless doorbell | Wireless chime, no camera | 32 ringtones, 4 volume levels, LED flash | ₹549 |
| ACBL-12 access control door bell | Bell for access control systems, no camera | see product page | ₹690 |

Price table: audio door phones (the cheaper alternative)
An audio door phone gives you voice only, no camera. It is still common in Indian homes, small offices and clinics because it is cheap and simple. The multi-button sets are made for houses where each floor has a different family: each button at the gate rings a different handset.
| Model | What is in the box | Lock control | Price |

What moves the price
- Wi-Fi and app control. This is the biggest jump. The cheapest wired kit is ₹4,999; the cheapest Wi-Fi model with app unlocking is ₹10,500. Pay for it only if you really want to answer the door when you are not at home.
- Number of families or floors. One outdoor button and one monitor is the base price. The Secureye villa set with four monitors and a four-button outdoor station is ₹19,999. If voice is enough, the 4-handset audio set is ₹4,899.
- Room to grow. Some Wi-Fi systems can be extended later. The Hawkvision HV-AD-VL-730 supports up to 2 outdoor units and 4 monitors; the 8-inch HV-IPK-VL802 supports up to 4 outdoor units and 8 monitors. If you may add a floor, pick a system that allows it.
- Screen and recording. Touch screens, 1080P video, motion alerts and memory card recording push a model up the list. A basic 7-inch colour screen is enough to see who is at the gate.
- The lock. A door phone on its own does not open anything. Budget for an electronic lock and its power supply, or buy a kit. Our video door phone and lock kits start at ₹10,750.
- Cable and fitting. Wired kits need cable from the gate to each monitor. Budget for cable and an electrician's time on top of the prices above.

FAQ
What is the price of a video door phone in India?
On our store a wired 7-inch video door phone for one house costs ₹4,999 to ₹6,000. Wi-Fi models with mobile app control cost ₹10,500 to ₹16,900, and a battery Wi-Fi video doorbell is ₹2,799. Prices include GST.
Can a video door phone open my gate?
Only when it is connected to an electronic lock. Some models state an unlock function, such as the one-touch unlock on the Hikvision DS-KIS205T or app unlocking on the Hawkvision Wi-Fi models, but the lock itself is usually extra. Our kits with a video door phone, lock, power supply and remotes cost ₹10,750 to ₹11,200.
Wired or Wi-Fi: which should I buy?
Wired is cheaper and does not depend on your internet, so it suits most homes where someone is usually in. Wi-Fi is worth the extra money if you want to see visitors and open the gate while you are at work or travelling.
Do I need internet for a video door phone?
Not for a basic wired kit: the monitor and outdoor camera talk over their own cable. Wi-Fi models and video doorbells need home Wi-Fi to send calls to your phone. The VDP-TY doorbell uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; the HV-AD-VL-730 supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
Can I add more monitors later?
Only if the system supports it. The HV-AD-VL-730 supports up to 4 monitors and the 8-inch HV-IPK-VL802 up to 8. For other models, check the product page before you plan extra monitors.
Is an audio door phone still worth buying?
Yes, if a voice call is enough to know who is at the gate. Audio sets cost ₹2,299 to ₹4,899 and the multi-button sets give each floor its own handset. An extra handset is ₹650. Our team helps with wiring on call and WhatsApp, free.
