- Features named in the kit listings: call transfer, hold, call pickup, and day and night mode.

C11 or C51: which phones should you pick?
| Point | Beetel C11 | Beetel C51 |
|---|---|---|
| Caller ID screen | No | Yes, FSK/DTMF, 16 digit LCD |
| Call memory | No | 30 incoming, 5 outgoing |
| Other features | Flash, pause, redial, mute, ringer control | 31 digit redial, real time clock, programmable flash, tone or pulse |
| Mounting | Not stated in our listing | Desk or wall |
| Price | ₹599 | ₹999 |
For room-to-room calling in a house, the C11 is plenty. Our 104B listing suggests a caller ID phone such as the C51 where you want to see who is calling, so a common setup is one C51 at the reception desk or in the drawing room and C11s everywhere else. More detail in Beetel C11 vs C51.

How the 104B is used day to day
Each phone gets its own extension number. To call another room, lift the handset and dial that number; the call is free. Outside calls arrive on the one shared line, and the kit listings name call transfer (pass the call to another extension), hold, and call pickup (answer a ringing call from a different phone). Day and night mode is also listed; if you are not sure how to program it, our team will walk you through it for free. If you never connect a landline, the same unit simply runs as a 4-point intercom, which is how many homes use it.
Because every phone has its own cable back to the unit, one faulty phone does not stop the others. You can also move a phone to another room later by plugging it into a different rosette, as long as a cable runs from that rosette to the unit.
Which combo fits your place?
- Two rooms now, maybe more later: Combo-CN3 (₹3,704). Two extension ports stay free.
- Clinic with a reception and two cabins: Combo-CN34 (₹4,369), or Combo-CN230 (₹5,699) if every desk should see caller ID.
- Home with four rooms: Combo-CN95 (₹5,034). Every port is used, so plan a bigger unit if you may add a fifth phone.
- Shop where the landline matters most: Combo-CN144 (₹6,649), caller ID on all four phones.
How does it compare with the Diplomat 104 kits?
The Diplomat DP-104 is also 1 line and 4 extensions, at the same unit price of ₹2,374. Its kits are slightly cheaper: Combo-CN50 with 2 C11 is ₹3,335, Combo-CN92 with 3 C11 is ₹4,322, Combo-CN128 with 4 C11 is ₹4,679 and Combo-CN167 with 4 C51 is ₹6,022. The CCL listings name more call features (transfer, pickup, day and night mode). Full comparison in CCL vs Diplomat EPABX.
When should you skip the 104B?
- You need a fifth phone: the CCL 105B (₹2,700) has 5 extensions.
- You may grow to 6 to 8 phones: the CCL 108B (₹3,200) has 8 extensions, and its listing adds caller ID to extensions, door phone and junction access during power failure.
- Two or three people make outside calls at once: look at the CCL 206B (2 lines, 6 extensions, ₹4,400) or CCL 308B (3 lines, 8 extensions, ₹4,900).
- Only two points, no dialling wanted: a lift-and-talk set such as Combo-CN29 (₹2,754) is simpler.
What else you need to install it
- Cable: one 2-core run from each phone to the unit. A 90 m roll of TW-2P telephone wire is ₹1,799 and usually covers four phones in a house.
- Rosettes: a wall socket at each phone. ROS-11, pack of 10 is ₹379.
- A power socket near the unit. Our listing says battery backup depends on the exact supplied model and advises against connecting a battery unless the manual shows a battery input. Putting the socket on your inverter line keeps the intercom running in power cuts.
- No landline? The CCL FCT-GSM-DU (₹3,299) turns a mobile SIM into a telephone line for the CO port.
A full kit with 4 C11 phones, one cable roll and a pack of rosettes comes to ₹7,212 (₹5,034 + ₹1,799 + ₹379). Wiring steps are in how an EPABX is wired.
